So, I've decided to attempt to become a contestant on "Win Lose or Blog". If you haven't checked it out yet you definitely should!
I recently had my second child and have really been lacking in the motivation department to get up off of my keister and get moving. I NEED this opportunity to get back into shape. I've felt myself slowly slip into the mindset of "one more _____ (enter anything delicious & bad for you food here x 3 servings) will be okay". I've slowly stopped being concerned with how it will affect my body physically, and my self-concept emotionally.
I don't have a lot of friends to work out with at my new gym, so there aren't many motivating calls to come work out...it all comes down to me, and I'm really not doing the best job right now.
If you are in the same boat & want to have some fun, while being encouraged & held accountable - join me! It should be a fun experience. There are GREAT prizes for both competing and commenting! Hope I make the cut!
If you want to be a contestant you have until midnight tomorrow (Thursday, June 18th) to enter. The first "season" starts June 21st. If you just want to follow along, join up anytime!

**Edit - 6/21/10 - I didn't make the "cut" for this season. If you get the chance, you should still stop by Win Lose or Blog & wish the contestants luck - or maybe offer them some encouragement in their journey to weight loss.
